Making the dicision to eat healthy

You may think eating healthy and tasting good are not the same thing.Not true.It has to be a willing decision to like the food you eat.For me it came down to more veggies,more fresh fruit,less meat and yes some tofu.I eat small meals numerous times a day.I also have several healthy snacks a day.Water is also vitally important.Juice with no sugar added .Low fat soy milk.I also eat my own version of home made veggie based soups.I eat double fiber bread.A lot of what makes this work is gradual changes.It also takes a fair amount of experimentation with what I call food strategies.Do you like veggies? What are your favorite kinds?Yogurt is also a good alternative to dessert.Remember READ the Label!Some yogurts are very high in sugar and fat.Yoplait whips yogurt is great.I ranges around 150 calories and 3 grams of fat.And it comes in so many yummy flavors than ever before.Flavours like Key Lime pie.Chocolate mousse,Blue Berry pie,Rasberry Mousse.EXPERIMENT!But,again that is what works for me.Maybe fresh fruit sprinkled with Truvia brand sweetener would work for you.I try to keep my meals under 300 calories and my snacks under 200 calories.Counting calories really does work.I keep my calories every day between 1400-1600.I also eat all the fresh fruit and fresh raw veggies I want.Flavored tea's are also great with a little Truvia.And reading labels make a world of difference.If you like I need to lose weight like I do then change is necessary.What you are doing presently must not be working or you would not be reading this.Check back for more hints.I also should be posting recipes soon.
